Electronic Arts (EA) announced today that its upcoming racing game, "Need for Speed Hot Pursuit," will feature a limited edition version that carries no additional premium over the standard version. The limited edition version will offer gamers two exclusive vehicles (Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and Ford Shelby GT500) and early access to four others that would normally be unlocked later in the game (Audi TT RS Coupe, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Porsche Cayman S and Dodge Challenger SRT8). The limited edition version will be available only during the initial shipments of the game.

- Need For Speed Hot Pursuit is based on some of the first-gen Need For Speed games and you will be able to play as a cop or as a racer. Also, it offers the possibility to start a career mode and you will be able to play as both characters. Hot Pursuit will feature some breathtaking cars for the racers and the Police cars aren’t that bad either, as some models are way faster than the ones you could drive as a racer. Hot Pursuit will feature the Lamborghini Reventon, but you will be able to drive it only if you’re a cop. Also, the Porsche 918 Spyder is included in the game.
- Need For Speed Hot Pursuit can be played in single player mode or you can play it in the multiplayer race mode against other 7 players. Also, it features a Live Multiplayer racing mode that allows drivers to post achievements on the new added Autolog, which can be described as the Facebook of the Need For Speed world. Until now it has been confirmed that the ‘Interceptor 1 vs 1′ game mode will be included in the game. Interceptor 1vs1 is a game mode in which a cop tries to capture a racer.
- Another great feature that NFS Hot Pursuit will feature is the possibility to add your own music files, which means that you can listen to your favorite music when you’re chased by the cops or when you’re chasing other racers, it depends on your preferences.
